Found it on the radio in an icy car on a Mercedes lot at 9 p.m., ten minutes before the buyer walked out of finance. A soft guitar riff, a calm dopamine rush — someone out there understands.

Why this exists

From the time that I could remember, there was vinyl on. My father religiously played jazz, and he was a massive John Lennon fan. We played all the Beatles songs, and we listened to a lot of early rock and roll. He used to talk about music all the time. Really all we did was listen to records, then cassettes, then it was CDs. Growing up in the 90s, I took on hip hop. I was into other things too. And I always loved collecting.
